Historical author Joe David Pool of
Louisiana also happens to raise goats, so compiling a history of the
Kiko breed just came naturally. Pool recently published "The Kiko Goat
in America" a compilation of articles by ten authors arranged in twelve
chapters. These authors include such noted authorities as Garrick Batten, Graham Culliford, Terry Hankins, An Peischel and Sylvia Tomilinson. Pool wrote three chapters in the book in order to fit the articles together in a logical manner. The book has 21 photographs with 10 of them being in color.
